Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was born on April 16, 1984 --- that very date in 1998, on her fourteenth birthday, Amelia found out that her first novel, IN THE FORESTS OF THE NIGHT, was accepted for publication. Her other book, DEMON IN MY VIEW was written two years later. Amelia --- known to many as Amy --- lives in Concord, Massachusetts. Her hobbies are reading, writing, singing, acting, fencing, and Wicca. She is also interested in helping the environment and endangered animals. She has two Siamese cats, two ferrets, and two dogs, one a black Labrador named Hatshepsut after the female pharaoh of Egypt.
